On my recent trip from Boston to New York, I bought a 'pizza' on board for about $4. It was the most absolutely pathetic piece of food I've encountered in my entire life. I literally laughed out loud when I peeled back the cover and nearly all of the cheese/tomato sauce came off with the plastic. Even though the counter-person zapped it for the requisite time in the microwave, the middle of the pizza was cold to the touch. I once ate prepackaged astronaut food at a science museum's gift shop, and that was better than this pizza. I understand you're not in the food biz, but you may want to consider stocking a marginally higher quality pizza, even if it means you'd only be making a $3 instead of a $3.50 profit per unit.

Men Vs. Women: Billiards

Was watching some women's professional billiards and wondered why the competition isn't coed.

I suppose the most practical argument regards the break: men tend to be inherently stronger and therefore have an advantage on the break. But I'd be surprised if the data bears this out. Do men, on average, pocket a ball on the break more frequently than women in 9-ball?

Otherwise, the rest of the game is strategy, feel, focus, technique: talents I'd argue that aren't intrinsically better suited to either sex. If professional golf were only a putting competition, I can't see why men and women would have separate tours.

Maybe it's ego, insecurity. Guys just don't have the balls to risk losing to their better halves.
